The Spirit of Christmas

Christmas is coming and it is getting near. I know everybody is excited and so I am. What I really learn about Christmas is that it is the spirit of giving without a thought of getting. No wonder Jesus Christ taught this principle by simply saying, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." We can read this in Acts 20: 35.
As I ponder that verse, I came to a thought that indeed, it is a blessing to see others being happy. You are teaching yourself to become less selfish. You are now having this spirit of reaching out to others. It is like your losing yourself for others. I think that's a great feeling and a meaningful way to celebrate Christmas.
I remember what Thomas S. Monson said about Christmas. He said, "The spirit of Christmas is the spirit of love and of generosity and of goodness. It illuminates the picture window of the soul, and we look out upon the world's busy life and become more interested in people than in things." I love the last part of his quote. Person, individuals, and human beings matters than things. What value can you get from a certain object. I know your loved ones are more valuable than your new new gadgets, sofa set, and kitchen utensils. Can you get loved from these things? I think not. This is the essence, why you give because you definitely love them. You don't care how much it cost your gifts to them because they are priceless to you. You simply love giving because you are simply being generous to them. On top of that, you are kind, nice, and simply being good to them that is why you do these things to them.
Because you love giving, BayanMall Incorporation has a good news for you. Check out the video:
