Family Is Everything
We all know that family is a basic unit of society. Basic in a sense that it is where everything started. It is the beginning of life of a new born baby where he/she is nurtured. It is where also the place where the child first learnings took place. Without family, a community cannot be formed. Hence, it is the foundation of mankind.
Michael J. Fox simply sum up the word family by stating that "Family is not an important thing. It's everything". I believe him. Indeed, family makes you complete. It causes your world to go round. Definitely, your life revolves around it. That is why you can't live without them. No matter what happens somehow you depend on it.
Another well define about family is from David Ogden Stiers, He said, "Family means no one gets left behind or forgotten." I know you will agree with this. Wherever you are, you will always remember them. You will always think how are they and what they are doing. "Whether you're away , I'm with you anyway, in Tagalog "Malayo ka man, kapiling ka pa rin." How many times did you hear this phrase? I hope not many times. Honestly, hearing this word makes me cry and a little bit emotional. Yet, looking at the other side of the coin, it gives hope and assurance. In other words, your love one is still there beside you in spite of the distance. Better cheer up my friend and hush your fears and the negative feelings you had. I know they have the reasons why they need to leave.
It could be like what Diane Lane said. I quote, "For me, going away to work is the hardest part of my life and career". Why could she able to say that? Maybe, because she has to leave her family to work. She had to give up the happiness of being with the companions of her life. Truthfully, I prefer to be with my family and friends and bond forever. But the reality is, it could not be because you have some obligation to fulfill especially if you are already a mom or a dad.
